Protection Coordination Study and Arc Flash Engineering
Cell Engineering was engaged to complete a site-wide Protection Coordination Study and Arc Flash assessment associated with mining power systems and electrical infrastructure operating across the BMA Goonyella Riverside Mine site.
The Protection Coordination Study included detailed review of switchboard protection settings, coordination assessments, Arc Flash risk analysis, and implementation of recommended electrical engineering improvements across the site’s power systems infrastructure.
Arc Flash labels displaying PPE requirements and hazard category ratings were developed and installed across switchboards throughout the site to improve electrical safety awareness and support operational compliance.
