Substation MCC Upgrade services delivered by Cell Engineering supported electrical infrastructure improvements and operational reliability upgrades at Glencore Collinsville Mine.

MCC and Electrical Infrastructure Engineering

Cell Engineering was engaged to deliver detailed engineering design services associated with a Substation MCC Upgrade project operating within a mining infrastructure environment. The project included electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, MCC panel designs, general arrangement drawings, and earthing system designs supporting upgraded mining electrical infrastructure systems. Engineering activities also included factory acceptance testing (FAT), site acceptance testing (SAT), commissioning support, and engineering services associated with system integration and operational verification activities.

PLC and Conveyor System Upgrades

The Substation MCC Upgrade project also involved upgrade of seven conveyor systems to a 24VDC control platform with improved PLC feedback systems supporting pullwire and emergency stop functionality.
