Client: Glencore – Collinsville Mine
Cell provided the electrical designs for the electrical infrastructure associated with the Substation 3 MCC10 upgrade in 2025. The designs included electrical schematics, single line diagrams, MCC panel, general arrangements, and earthing designs. Cell completed the factory and site acceptance testing of the electrical equipment. Cell also provided engineering services as part of the commissioning team.
- Design included the supply of 26 existing loads and two new main incomers with a bus tie arrangement between the MCCs.
- Seven conveyor systems were also upgraded to a 24VDC control system with improved PLC feedback for pullwire systems and E-stop systems.
- Cell Project managed the whole shutdown, including scheduling, commissioning, and change management.
