Power System Infrastructure & Detailed Design

PROJECT: Water Treatment Plant Substations (33kV/433V)
CLIENT: Glencore - Collinsville Mine

We were engaged by Glencore to develop detailed designs for a new $60M water treatment plant to treat and release site water.
We were responsible for the following designs:
2 x 33kV/433V - 4MVA Substations
2 x 33kV/433V - 1MVA Pit Pump Substations  
5 x Solar Powered Communications trailers for site LTE network.
Earthing and Lighting protection for all Areas
PLC and SCADA designs for the Substations.
Schematics, SLD’s, Termination Diagrams, Loop control and Instrument drawings.
Specifications and Data Sheets
Tender documentation and Reviews
Protection Studies (Fault level, Load flow, Protection settings and arc flash)

Secondment and Support

PROJECT: Full time engineering support for Power and Water various groups
CLIENT: Darwin Power and Water Corporation

We provided several engineers to Power and Water Corporation across various departments. The various roles include support in network connection and distribution, fault assessments and report writing, remote community support and system control.

The engineers are responsible for project scoping, reviewing, and processing network connection applications, engineering design support, factory, and site acceptance testing for electrical and control systems.

TIME FRAME: Continues 2020/2021
APPROX VALUE: $180,000

IT / OT Services

PROJECT: Complete Network Infrastructure Rebuild and Upgrade
CLIENT: Anglo American – Capcoal Complex

Involving the development of redundant path and alternate route replacement and installation of fibre & cat6 cabling systems. Replacement of existing network infrastructure under an agreed standardised hardware vendor. Full server room rebuilds during live environment operations.

Tendering and project management of all required vendors across access control, UPS power solutions, specialist site installation providers & international in-house IT development teams. Development of all change management processes and documentation including safety audits and personnel training.

TIME FRAME: Completed in 2021
